At our meeting last Thursday (November 2011), Darcy reported her success at getting her paintings (10 of them) hung in a new restaurant (open Monday-Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m, located in The Crossing between Main Street and the Colorado River).  Here's a link to an article about the cafe that was in the Bastrop Advertiser http://bastropadvertiser.com/2011/11/09/olde-world-offers-new-choices/

Well, the very next day I was in Bastrop so I had to go see... what a cool place!  Oh, such delicious food too!

If you get a chance to go there - take it.  Let them know that's what brought you.  Daniel (the owner) says he plans to fill the place with artwork, both 2 and 3 dimensional and hopes to start having music sometime in December.
