EAA Artist - Frank Brabec
Frank Brabec is a retired computer hardware/software project
manager. He has been photographing wildlife/nature since 1989 with
an emphasis on western big game animals and wild flowers. He has an
extensive portfolio of over 100,000 images including such critters
as Polar Bears, Bald Eagles and Mountain Lions. He has photographed
all over the US. His favorite place to photograph is in Yellowstone
National Park. YNP has a very diverse range of subjects with its
animals, geysers and wildflowers in the spring, and greatly varying
backdrops. He is shown with his traveling buddies, a pair of German
Shorthair Pointers, Julie and Logan.
Frank does all of his imaging work utilizing a digital darkroom and state of the art Epson printers. He can print images from 4in.x 6in. to 44in. x 100ft. His software includes all of Adobes Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and more). Frank is a member of NANPA (North American Nature Photographers Association), and NAPP (National Association of Photoshop Professionals). His work can be seen at Elgin Outfitters, Elgin, TX.
