Hosts 20th Annual Pearls Art Show
Elgin, Texas – Mark your calendars! The 20th Annual Pearls Art Show is going to be an event to remember. The 3-day show will be held at 105 W. 2nd Street (Back Forty Chiropractic and Rain Deer Productions) in historic downtown Elgin. The show kicks off with an opening reception from 7:00 to 9:30 the evening of October 22 and will feature fine works of art from some of our most talented local artists. The Elgin Arts Association met at 7:00 pm., October 16, 2008 at the Elgin Public Library. EAA President Michael Strange was unable to attend due to a work-related commitment. In his absence, Vice President Greg Silkenson presided over the meeting. For those of you not able to attend, you missed a very enthusiastic meeting! Though the meeting lasted just over an hour, as you’ll see from the following, there was a lot of great discussion!
