Pearls Before Swine - 2010

For the first time ever there was a youth portion of the Pearls Before Swine Art Show. What a fantastic success!!! There were over 100 youth works of art submitted to the show. Everyone enjoyed the chance to see the creativity and beauty of their work.

24 artists participated in the adult show - some of the most amazing work. Carol Lyon won 1st place - 2D for her piece "Good Vibes", an astounding photograph on canvas. Nancy Lou Webster won 1st place - 3D for her piece titled "Love Spoons". The People's Choice Award went to Darcy Schneider for her "Expectant Buds". Of course these are just highlights... Did you get to see Joanne Stowe's "Southwestern Pots"? How about Norman Bean's "St Peter's Bascilica"? Molly Mansfield's "Basic Washtub Blues"? I can't even imagine how the judges were able to choose. There were so many pieces of fabulous art!

Thanks to everyone who participated in this year's Pearls Before Swine Art Show and Youth Art Show. It was a resounding success!
